We are one of the very first Funeral Directors to offer this service, which we believe puts you in complete control of the event. Swimming Pool to be heated from Crematorium

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hereford-worcester-12388011 This is a great and innovative use of heat generated by a crematorium being recycled and used to heat a leisure centre. There are, of course, objections on the grounds of lack of taste, but is this really justified? The heat that is generated in a crematorium is immense, and once "used" is wasted. Why not put it to good use?

Kingfisher Independent Funeral Services is thoroughly in favour of recycling and re-using any of the earth's valuable resources. We promote the use of eco-friendly coffins and green burial. We recycle almost all of the waste generated by the business, and we are very proud of this.
